The Sales Specialist – Business Development is responsible for acquiring new accounts and generating revenue through structured lead generation, client onboarding, and deal closing. This role is focused on business acquisition. The Specialist identifies white space opportunities, builds a qualified pipeline, conducts presentations, negotiates commercial terms, and converts prospects into active dealers. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting 

  • Identify and qualify new dealers, corporate clients, and non-traditional channels 
  • Conduct outbound prospecting (cold calls, field visits, networking) 
  • Research new territories, industries, and vertical opportunities 
  • Build and maintain a structured pipeline of prospects 

2. Client Acquisition & Closing 

  • Set and conduct client meetings and product presentations 
  • Develop and present commercial proposals 
  • Negotiate initial commercial terms in coordination with management 
  • Close new accounts and secure initial purchase orders 

3. New Account Onboarding 

  • Facilitate documentation and accreditation requirements 
  • Coordinate first order processing with Admin and Operations 
  • Ensure smooth handover to Account Management after onboarding 

4. Pipeline & Reporting Discipline 

  • Maintain accurate CRM updates 
  • Track pipeline value and conversion rate 
  • Submit weekly activity and acquisition reports 
  • Provide market intelligence and competitor insights 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Graduate of any 4-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field 
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Distribution Sales, Account Management, or Business Development 
  • Experience in consumer electronics, lifestyle, or technology distribution is preferred 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities 
  • Skilled in building professional relationships across all levels of an organization 
  • Open to fieldwork and reporting on-site in Mandaluyong as required 
  • CRM familiarity is a plus 
  • Driving skills preferred
