JOB SUMMARY: The Sales Development Specialist will be responsible for opening new accounts for tech and lifestyle brands. Identify partnership opportunity in different channel sectors such as consumer electronics, IT, Telco etc. They will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, provide exceptional customer service, and achieve sales targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sales Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with newly on-boarded accounts and channels by aligning target sales share, understanding their pain points, requirements, and delivering tailored solutions.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities of brands to drive business growth and coordinate with internal team for efficient account management.
- Achieve sales targets by identifying new partnership opportunities, brands upselling, and converting them into sales. Conduct market research, competitor pricing, offers and stay updated on industry developments to identify potential growth areas.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including prompt response to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction including online platforms.
- Order Management: Coordinate with internal teams, such as logistics, inventory, and finance, to ensure timely processing and delivery of orders.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings. Attending industry events to expand the company’s customer base.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas of improvement and make data-driven recommendations for business growth.
- Product understanding: Stay knowledgeable about product specifications and competitive landscape, effectively communicate product benefits to clients, and address customer inquiries.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of any 4-year degree in business administration or marketing
- Minimum 3 year of experience in Sales / Business development role
- Experience in dealing with business owners / decision makers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Adept in developing and maintaining business relationships with all leadership positions
- Monday to Friday with fieldwork nationwide when necessary.
- Valid driver's license and owns a two or four-wheel vehicle is an advantage
