The Brand Strategy Officer is responsible for developing and executing brand strategies for brands within the company's portfolio as well as potential new brands. This role ensures alignment between brand objectives and local market opportunities, driving awareness, engagement, and sales performance. Working closely with all departments, brand principals, and dealers/channels, the officer will manage and coordinate brand positioning, go-to-market strategies, channel strategy, retail execution, and promotional planning. The role also involves data-driven analysis of sales performance, inventory, market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to optimize brand growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Brand Management
- Takes ownership and acts as the key point of contact for assigned brands.
- Builds rapport and maintain strong relationships with brand principals to align local execution with global strategy.
- Lead joint business planning and marketing calendar development.
2. Product Lifecycle Management
- Manage product launches from pre-introduction through end-of-life.
- Coordinate pricing, forecasting, inventory planning, and promotional planning.
- Analyze product performance and make recommendations to optimize performance and portfolio mix.
3. Marketing & Go-To-Market Execution
- Work with Marketing Department and Digital Marketing to plan and execute marketing plans and campaigns tailored to local channels.
- Coordinate with distribution, marketing, Ecommerce, digital, and retail teams for brand alignment.
- Monitor competitive landscape and ensure positioning is differentiated.
4. Commercial Support
- Work closely with sales & marketing teams to achieve sales targets and other KPIs
- Develop sell-in tools, incentives, and promotions.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and margins
- Cascade performance and relevant metrics to all departments concerned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University graduate with 7+ years working experience working in consumer electronics, lifestyle, or outdoor brand management
- High English proficiency
- Proven project management skills
- Data oriented
- Familiar with the Philippine retail environment and knowledgeable in merchandising, sales, distribution, and marketing
- Self-starter that can work independently and collaboratively
